Step 1: Clean the concrete surface – The first is to clean the concrete surface so there is no debris laying around. To do this, a leaf blower is used and it is important to make sure that there is no small gravels of concrete laying on the surface.

Step 2: Determine your starting point – Whenever you determine the direction it will be easy to know where to start and where to end. It will also help to plan ahead and deal with obstacles. 

Step 3: Pull a string – It is an important part to pull a string when installing tiles. It will decide the tile would hang over the edge of the pool 1 inch on both ends and pull the sting tight across those marks. It will allow you to line up each tile with sting to ensure the end is perfectly straight edge.

Step 6: Grout the tile – After applying the thinset and laying tiles, it is time to grout. Sanded grout in a color called pewter is used. Prepare grout as you prepare the thinset, and it is used to apply the grout into the tiles joints. And then used a wet sponge to wipe off the excess grout from the surface of tiles.
